The information we collect depends on the services you use and the information you provide. We collect it directly from you, automatically when you use our services, and from providers involved in authentication, payment, delivery, marketing, or an order you place through another sales channel.

Account and contact information

When you register, place an order, subscribe, or contact us, we collect details such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, account identifier, authentication records, and communication preferences.

Orders and product preferences

We collect products viewed or purchased, cart contents, skate guard sizing and customization choices you provide, order and transaction identifiers, payment status, delivery information, returns, refunds, and warranty requests.

Payment information

Payment providers process payment details to complete purchases or issue refunds. We receive transaction confirmations and the last 4 digits of the cc along with the name and billing address associated. Do not send full payment card information in a support message.

Support and content you submit

We collect the messages, attachments, reviews, survey answers, and other information you choose to submit. Content you submit for public display may be visible to other people. Avoid including personal information you do not want published.

Device and website activity

Our systems collect information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, event timestamps, and diagnostic and security logs. Cookies and similar technologies can associate activity with a browser, device, or account. An IP address can indicate an approximate location.

Dealer and referral information

If you join a dealer or referral program, we collect business contact details, application information, referral identifiers, attributable transactions, and information needed to administer commissions and tax obligations.

Information from other services

We receive authentication information from a social login provider you choose, payment and fraud-screening results from payment providers, delivery updates from carriers, and order information from a sales channel through which you buy our products. The Meta-specific information is described below.

Please do not provide health information, government identification documents, or other sensitive information unless we specifically request it for a stated and lawful purpose.

3. How and why we use information

  • Provide accounts, verify sign-ins, save preferences, and operate our websites and portals.
  • Process payments and orders, customize products, arrange delivery, manage returns and warranties, and send service messages.
  • Answer questions, investigate complaints, and provide customer support.
  • Administer dealer and referral relationships, attribute eligible sales, calculate commissions, and meet reporting obligations.
  • Understand service performance, diagnose errors, and improve products, navigation, and customer experience.
  • Send marketing where permitted and consistent with your preferences; measure campaigns and provide advertising as described in Section 5.
  • Protect accounts and systems, detect fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

Information needed to process an order or provide an account is necessary for that service. If you do not provide it, we may be unable to complete the transaction or provide the requested feature. Optional marketing participation is separate from these requirements.

4. Facebook Instagram and other Meta services

Facebook Login. If you choose to sign in through Facebook, we receive the information authorized through that connection. We also process authentication tokens where needed to operate the connection. We use these data to verify your identity, create or link your Rockerz account, and provide the sign-in feature. We do not receive your Facebook password.

Messages and other interactions. If you contact Rockerz through a Meta service, we receive the information you send and identifiers made available for that interaction so we can respond. Meta advertising tools. Meta Pixel, Conversions API, or similar integrations can send Meta information about visits and transactions, such as page or product viewed, cart or purchase events, order value, currency, IP address, browser information, and permitted identifiers Hashing an identifier does not necessarily make it anonymous. These tools support campaign measurement, audience matching, and advertising, subject to applicable consent and opt-out choices.

We limit our use and disclosure of information obtained through Meta to the disclosed purposes and uses allowed by Meta’s applicable terms and the law. To request deletion of Meta-derived information held by Rockerz, follow Section 9. Removing the Rockerz connection in your Meta account can stop future access but does not necessarily delete information previously received by Rockerz. A request to Rockerz does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account or information Meta independently controls.

5. Cookies analytics and advertising choices

We use essential technologies to support security, sign-in, shopping carts, and other requested functions.

Where consent is required, optional technologies are used only after you consent. You can withdraw that consent or change your selections. Refusing optional technologies does not prevent the use of essential shopping functions, although some optional features may be unavailable.

Advertising partners can combine permitted information from Rockerz with information from other services to recognize a browser or device, measure advertising, or personalize ads. These disclosures can constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy law, even without a monetary payment.

Where applicable, use “Do not sell” to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as required by applicable law. These choices also apply to relevant server-side disclosures. You do not need to create an account or provide identity verification to exercise an advertising opt-out, although we may need information to apply a choice to a particular account.

Browser settings can also control cookies. Choices may need to be applied on each browser or device, and clearing cookies can remove saved preferences.

6. When we disclose information

We disclose relevant personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Service providers: hosting, commerce, technology support, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer service, email delivery, analytics, accounting, tax administration, and other operational providers.
  • Fulfillment and delivery providers: information needed to prepare, ship, track, or return an order.
  • Advertising and social platforms: the information described in Sections 4 and 5, subject to your choices and applicable law.
  • Dealer or referral participants: limited information needed for the relationship or commission administration.
  • Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties: where necessary and lawful to meet an obligation, protect rights, investigate fraud, or resolve a dispute.
  • Parties to a business transaction: where necessary for a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy protections.
  • Other recipients you direct or authorize us to share with.

We require providers acting on our behalf to protect the information and use it only for authorized services and other lawful purposes specified in our agreements. Some providers, including payment processors and social platforms, independently control certain processing under their own privacy notices. A shared technology provider does not by itself authorize unrelated cross-brand marketing.

7. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including applicable legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute requirements. We consider the type and sensitivity of the information, the relationship with you, and mandatory retention periods.

Information Retention period or rule
Account and profile Retention during account use and after closure or inactivity.
Orders payments tax and commissions Period and starting event, by applicable record type or jurisdiction.
Support reviews and warranty records Period or specific case and warranty criteria.
Meta authentication and platform data Only while needed for the authorized feature, subject to valid deletion requests and applicable Meta requirements.
Cookies analytics and security logs Retention during account use and after closure or inactivity.
Backups and preference records Minimal opt-out, consent, or request records are kept only as needed to honor choices and demonstrate compliance.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it so it is no longer reasonably linkable to you. We restrict any information retained solely for a legal obligation or other permitted exception.

8. Security and international processing

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your information is processed in the United States and in other countries. Those other countries may have different privacy laws, and information may be accessible to authorities under their laws.

Contact us for information about the safeguards or a copy where available. Use of our website alone is not consent to a restricted transfer.

9. How to request deletion of your data

You can request deletion of your Rockerz account, personal information, or information received through Facebook or another Meta service without signing in.

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request,” or use https://www.rockerz.com/contact and identify your message as a deletion request.
  2. Provide the name and email address associated with your Rockerz account or order. If relevant, identify the Meta connection or the information you want deleted. You do not need a Facebook user ID to make a request.
  3. Tell us whether you want your entire Rockerz account deleted or only specified information, such as data received through Facebook Login. Do not send passwords or full payment card numbers.

We may request proportionate information to verify identity or an authorized agent’s authority before disclosing or deleting records. We use that information for handling and securing the request. We do not require you to create a new account.

After verification where needed, we delete the information covered by a valid request from our active systems and instruct relevant providers to do the same where required. We confirm completion or explain any lawful limitation. Removing login data can disable social sign-in; deleting an account can remove access to saved preferences and account history.

Some information may need to be retained to comply with a legal obligation, address fraud or security concerns, resolve a dispute, or for another applicable legal exception. We explain the relevant reason and limit further use. For Meta Platform Data, any exception must also be permitted by Meta’s applicable terms. Backup copies are handled according to the retention schedule and remain protected from ordinary use until deleted; applicable deletions are reapplied if a backup is restored.

We respond within the period required by applicable law. EEA and UK requests generally receive a response within one month; covered California access, correction, and deletion requests generally receive a response within 45 days. Where a lawful extension is needed, we notify you within the initial period and explain the reason. Shorter deadlines apply where required. These timeframes do not delay faster advertising opt-outs.

10. Other privacy rights and marketing choices

Depending on your location and the law’s application to Rockerz, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Certain laws also provide portability rights and rights to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling used for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Contact us using Section 1 to exercise a right or authorize an agent where permitted. We explain a denial and any available review or appeal process. To appeal, contact us with “Privacy Appeal” and the request reference. We respond within the applicable legal deadline. We do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails or contact us to stop marketing. If you subscribe to text messages, follow the program’s opt-out instructions. Service messages, such as receipts or security notices, may continue. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

11. Additional information for California and other US residents

Sections 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 describe the categories of information, sources, purposes, recipients, sale or sharing practices, and retention rules.

Where the CCPA applies, California residents may request access to categories and specific pieces of information, correction, deletion, and information about disclosures. They may also opt out of sale or sharing and, where applicable, limit uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information. Submit requests through Section 1 and use the controls in Section 5 for advertising opt-outs.

Residents of other states may have additional rights, including an appeal of a denied request or a right to contact their state attorney general. We honor those rights where applicable.

12. Additional information for international users

EEA and United Kingdom

Where applicable, our legal bases are: performing or preparing a contract for accounts, orders, and requested services; complying with legal obligations for required records and reporting; consent for processing that requires it, including certain cookies and marketing; and legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention, support, and service improvement, after considering your rights.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. You may complain to the supervisory authority where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred; UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/.

Canada Australia and New Zealand

Where the relevant law applies, you can request access and correction and raise a complaint with our privacy contact. Canadian residents may withdraw consent subject to lawful limitations and may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial regulator. Additional provincial rights apply where required.

Australian and New Zealand residents can ask us to investigate a privacy complaint. We will acknowledge it, review the relevant circumstances, and explain the outcome and available next steps within the applicable timeframe. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au/ or the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner at https://www.privacy.org.nz/. This does not limit other rights or complaint routes available by law.

13. Children and young people

Our purchasing, dealer, and referral services are intended for adults. Parents or guardians should manage purchases and accounts for younger skaters. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required parental authorization. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and delete it or take other required steps.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of people under 16.

14. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. Where required, we provide notice of material changes and obtain consent before a new use requiring consent. Continued use alone does not provide consent where the law requires a separate choice.
